KMS Crashes on Windows

If KMS crashes on Windows, the console (not an RDP console) should show an "assist.exe" process. Be sure to follow this process and upload the crash information to Kerio. The crash information will be very large, but it will go directly to the Kerio developers.

Once the information is uploaded, call Kerio support and give them the License number. This gives support a way to find the crash that was uploaded. It could take a day before this crash information is indexed and available to support personel.

If the issue is more urgent (repeated crashes) then support will need the crashdump uploaded by hand to an FTP server. The crash dump is located in C:\Program Files\Kerio\Mailserver\crashlog.tar.gz. Check the date on this file to be sure it was created at the time of the crash.
